Farm Fresh Flowers Series

I just wanted to show this picture of my new yarn. It's called, obviously, Pink Hydrangeas. I was spinning this mohair at the Growers Market yesterday, when these beautiful flowers from Fry Family Farm caught my eye. How perfect was that?! This is the second time this has happened, so I think I'll start a yarn series called....hmmm... What do you think? Fryed Yarn? Fryed Mohair? Yarn and Fryed Flowers? Any ideas? Oh and the Etsy Forumer who came up with the name for my new fiber below (Mystic Sea) is Catiahades, who has an awesome etsy shop also! Check her out at catiahades.etsy.com!

Well, if there's more from Fry Farms that inspires you other than the hydrangeas, then Fry Farms or Fry Flowers Series would work. I thought maybe your farm was Fry. A flower series could be cool, otherwise I'm not sure I see the connection or reason behind the name.

It's so beautiful! How charming that you spin it while you are at the market. I bet that helps you get some business too - it's so fun to see people doing their craft.

It is so much fun spinning at the market. All the boys and girls come and love to touch the fiber and see pics of my animals! But the most surprising part is that men are absolutely fascinated with the spinning wheel. They all want to know how it works and look amazed when they first approach. After I explain it to them, they all act as though they knew how it worked to begin with! Hahahah!
